What can I do with the ActBlue Integration?
Sync all of your ActBlue forms to build Strive automations while growing your Members list.
Can I automate messages when a donor signs an ActBlue form?
Yes, you can build automations for new, existing, or all members who sign your ActBlue form via Integration Automations. Trigger thank you's and welcome flows when a supporter signs your donation form.
Will new supporters be added to Strive?
Yes! Upon signing an ActBlue form a new member record will be created in Strive. Strive will only import members into your Members list who have opted-in to receive SMS.
ActBlue forms must contain:
-A mobile phone field
-An SMS Consent check box
Can I sync past donors into Strive?
You can! When setting up your new webhook request in ActBlue make sure you apply the desired backfill date.

How does supporter/member data sync between ActBlue and Strive?

Strive does not send data back to the ActBlue, due to limitations with their API.

ActBlue Donation ROI
Once you’ve synced your ActBlue account you can track donation ROI to understand how your donation asks perform in messages.
Step 1: Enable donation tracking on your ActBlue links.
- In order to track who submits your ActBlue donation form you must use the Strive link shortener. Click Link below the compose window and enter the donation form URL.
- Select ActBlue in the Track click-throughs by type drop down. This will append a ref code to the end of your donation form URL so that Strive can track when subscribers submit the donation form. This ref code will not impact tracking by other third party ref codes embedded in your URL.
- Click Add Link
Step 2: Monitor Performance in Reports
Donation ROI is tracked in your Broadcast, Automations, and Flow reports so you can see how each of your donation forms are performing across your messaging.
Once a donation is submitted via the shortened link, the Donation ROI widget will populate in the corresponding report with the following metrics:
- Donation ROI: this is your estimated return on investment based on the cost of the messages sent divided by the total donations raised via the shortened link. Please note that metric will begin to populate the ROI 24hrs after a broadcast has been sent.
- Donations: the estimated total number of donations received via the shortened link.
- Link clicked with no donation activity: the total number of members who visited the donation form via the shortened link, but did not donate.
- Messages sent with no clicks: the total number of messages sent where no click or donation activity was detected.
- Average donation amount: This is the average amount donated via the shortened link.
- Highest donation amount: This is the highest dollar amount donated by a subscriber in your audience via the shortened link.
- Total donations raised: This is the sum of all donations raised by the shortened link.
Note: if you are tracking multiple donation links, the metrics for average, highest, and total donations are specific to the link selected in the URL dropdown of the widget.
- Click conversion rate: the amount of subscribers that clicked donation links divided by the estimated number of subscribers who clicked the donation link and donated.
