Broadcast send speeds

Adjust your broadcast send speed so that messages send in the timespan you need

By default, Strive sends at the fastest send speeds available for your number.

Why would I want to slow my broadcast down?

For certain use cases, such as call tool actions to a single target, it may be helpful to expand your broadcasting period so that calls are not made to the target at once.

For P2P efforts it may be helpful to slow down your broadcasts so that volunteers and staff have a manageable stream of replies throughout the day.

How fast can Strive send my broadcasts?

By default, Strive will send all messages at the highest speed made available to your campaign by carriers. Depending on the type of phone number you have, messages can be sent at as fast as 1,000,000 messages per hour. Learn more about phone number types and available send speeds.


Adjust send speed:

  1. From the Broadcast review step click Broadcasting Advanced Options
  2. Click the + sign next to your broadcast’s estimated completion time to increase your broadcasting period. By default Strive will send at the highest send speeds made available for your campaign.
Note: If you increase your broadcast sending period to more than 10 hours, it may run into quiet hours. Learn more about quiet hours.
